Portrait photography is a difficult task and there is a number of reasons for that. To simply aim a camera at a person and click a photo is only a part of the job. To show mood, personality and social context of the person being photographed is what the portrait photography should achieve.
A lot depends on the model’s mood and the relationship between the model and the photographer. While making a portrait, a professional photographer thinks about the lighting, the surroundings and the subjects inside the viewfinder. The assignment also includes a choice of the right pose and angle, so that in the general the image looks flattering.
